Kitovu Mobile (KM) is a not-for profit, faith- based organization under the Diocese of Masaka, Uganda. It was founded by the Medical Missionaries of Mary (MMM) in 1987 as a response to the HIV and AIDS crisis in the then Masaka and Rakai Districts. Over the past 38 years, KM has transformed from one project of Home-Based Care into a multi-project centered organization empowering marginalized families and communities with operations in eight (8) districts of greater Masaka region.

Kitovu Mobile in partnership with Kindernothilfe (KNH), has been implementing MFS project since 1998 targeting Teenage School Dropouts (TDOs) to equip them with modern sustainable and organic farming skills as a way of addressing the human rights challenges of youth unemployment, food insecurity and low incomes among the vulnerable households. To strengthen project implementation, the organization seeks to recruit a competent and motivated Agriculturalist to support field-based training and mentoring of beneficiaries.

Job Summary:

The Agriculturalist will play a central role in delivering practical agricultural training through demonstration gardens, farmer field learning, and community mentoring. The successful candidate will work closely with project staff, community support groups, and local leaders to promote sustainable organic agriculture, improved production techniques, and market-oriented farming among project participants.
